A few weeks back my guild had a Sunday sew day, which gave me the opportunity to finally sew my Constellations Camping Quilt top together.
I accidentally made one half way prominent oopsy in my haste to sew this top quickly - can you spot it? I'm torn between leaving it or fixing it, but either way I just love how this top turned out!
The deadline for our glamping trip is fast approaching so my finished time is running low. Fingers crossed I sneak in some sewing time between now and glamping-hour so I can polish this quilt off.
I'm getting really excited to snuggle under this one soon.
You can read more about the making of this quilt here and here.
Happy Independence Day to all our American friends today!
I am OBSESSED with this!!! Awesome background choices and the other colors -swoon! How are you going to quilt it?
ReplyDeleteI really like the colors; I like blues and purples and they go really well (imo) with the grey.
ReplyDeleteCall it your "humility block" and carry on! I love it as is :)
ReplyDeleteI love this! I had to look at every star before noticing one was dancing to a different tune ;) The Pearl Bracelet fabric in the background really helps makes the whole quilt!
ReplyDeleteIt is so beautiful! The gradient effect makes the stars look even more twinkly! I love the background fabric too. I honestly could not spot the "oops" block (even in the close-up), until I read the comments.
ReplyDeleteThis is so striking. I LOVE it. Your colors are gorgeous, with that gradient (and I super love all blues and grays - those purples make it even cooler), then with those specific fabrics! holy goodness. Stunning! I can't wait to see how you finish it up.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! those are some of my favorite colors!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLove it! It looks fantastic Kelsey. Can't wait to see if finished in it's new home!!
